Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and dynamic General Manager to lead our restaurant operations with passion and precision. Duties
Lead and supervise daily restaurant operations, including food preparation, service delivery, and staff management to ensure smooth and efficient functioning.
Oversee food safety protocols, ensuring compliance with health regulations and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food handling.
Manage inventory control processes, including ordering, stock rotation, and waste reduction to optimize food costs and minimize shortages.
Utilize POS systems such as Toast and R365 for accurate cash handling, sales tracking, and reporting.
Conduct staff training sessions on food preparation techniques, customer service excellence, safety procedures, and operational standards to foster continuous improvement.
Recruit, interview, hire, and onboard new team members while providing ongoing coaching and performance evaluations.
Develop staff schedules aligned with business needs while managing shift changes efficiently to maximize productivity.
Monitor financial performance by budgeting, analyzing sales data, controlling costs, and implementing strategies to meet profit goals.
Enhance guest experience through attentive service management, resolving customer concerns promptly with a positive attitude.
Coordinate catering events, banquets, or special functions as needed to expand revenue streams.
Lead team meetings to communicate goals, recognize achievements, and promote a cohesive work environment.
Collaborate with kitchen staff on food production standards and culinary innovations to ensure menu consistency and quality.
Maintain compliance with food safety standards such as HACCP protocols and local health regulations.
Drive marketing initiatives within the restaurant community to increase visibility and customer loyalty.
Experience
No experience necessary. We will train. Candidates that possess experience within the food industry a plus, ideally in quick service or fast food restaurants with casual or fine dining environments. Supervisory skills are essential—experience supervising diverse teams in a volume settings is highly valued. POS systems such as Toast or R365 will be utilized. Candidates will be trained in knowledge of food safety practices, inventory control procedures, budgeting techniques, and hospitality management principles. Preferred qualifications include prior experience in hotel or catering settings, barista or coffee shop experience for versatile beverage program management, as well as assistant manager roles that showcase leadership capabilities. A background kitchen management is advantageous for overseeing food production standards.
