Nationally branded, customer service awarded, newly renovated and privately owned Holiday Inn Express Hotel is looking for a great customer service oriented individual to fill the advertised position. If you love customer service and have an out going personality who wants to work in a non micro managed position, this is for you. The following position is what we are looking to immediately fill:
Hotel Guest Service Representative (AM MOD). Job duties are as follows:
>Manage traditional hotel front desk responsibilities including answering phone, making or transferring reservation requests, guest check-in and check-out, billing and payment collection and fulfilling guest requests.
>Communicate and collaborate with other hotel departments including housekeeping and maintenance to ensure a seamless guest experience.
>Immediately address and resolve guest issues and or complaints.
>Act as Security of the Hotel and periodically do property walks and checks.
>Exhibits a "Can Do" attitude and strong, honest work ethic.
>Strongly support and adhere to our IHG One Rewards Membership Guest Program.
>Handle other responsibilities as needed and or directed by Hotel Management.
>Help with Breakfast as needed. There may be some instances where you cover that area and will close down the area.
>Work hours are 7AM to 3PM, Monday thru Friday. Saturday and Sunday are days off.
If you love the public, the rest of the position will fall into place including Reservations, Check-In's and basic computer usage. You must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, sound judgement, patience and be able to work with little or no supervision. Pay based on experience. Opera Front Office PMS system knowledge would be great, but not necessary. Sign on Bonus of $250.00 paid in addition to first paycheck and Stay on Bonus of $250.00 paid after 90 days of continued consistent employment.
