Nour's is a modern Lebanese-inspired restaurant that blends the richness of Middle Eastern tradition with a fresh, elegant, and contemporary approach. We’re looking for a passionate and experienced Sous Chef to join our opening team and help bring our culinary vision to life.
What You’ll Do
Work directly with the Executive Chef to oversee day-to-day kitchen operations
Lead by example on the line and during prep to ensure top-quality dishes and consistency
Assist with recipe development, plating, and menu execution with a focus on Lebanese flavors
Supervise and mentor kitchen staff, contributing to a positive and collaborative kitchen culture
Manage inventory, place orders, and monitor food costs and waste
Uphold all food safety, sanitation, and health code standards
Step in during the Executive Chef’s absence to ensure smooth operations
What We’re Looking For
3+ years in a professional kitchen, with at least 1 year in a leadership role
A strong appreciation and understanding of Lebanese or Middle Eastern cuisine
Reliable, organized, and calm under pressure
Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills
Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
Food Handler's Certification (or willing to obtain prior to start date)
