NCG Associates is a reputable healthcare staffing agency that specializes in connecting talented healthcare professionals with rewarding job opportunities. We are currently seeking compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) with experience in geriatrics to join our team.
Responsibilities
Assist elderly patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
Provide emotional support and companionship to geriatric patients
Assist with mobility and transfers using appropriate techniques and equipment
Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature
Assist with feeding and medication administration as directed by healthcare professionals
Implement and maintain patient care plans
Document patient information accurately and timely
Observe and report any changes in patients' condition to the nurse
Ensure a clean and safe environment for patients
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive and personalized care
Requirements
Valid certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Previous experience in a geriatric care setting
Knowledge and understanding of geriatric care principles and practices
Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards elderly patients
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and manage time
Physical endurance and ability to lift, push, and pull heavy objects
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
Current BLS certification (Basic Life Support)
