We are growing and were fortunately to have added a new Doctor in 2024! As they transition into the practice, we are looking for a Dental Assistant who shares our values and can bring a positive, energetic presence to the office and help kick-start our growing orthodontics specialty. Position Overview:
As a Dental Assistant, you’ll play a key role in making our patients feel comfortable and ensuring that their experience at our office is smooth and stress-free. Your position will include of mix of general and orthodontic assisting.
We are looking for someone who is not only skilled but also brings a friendly, approachable attitude to work every day. In this role, you’ll have the chance to grow alongside our team, contribute to a positive work environment, and make a real impact in the lives of our patients. In addition to traditional dental assistant duties, this role will include lab work, such as working with our in-office 3D printer for custom dental appliances and restorations.
Responsibilities:
Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
Ensure patients are comfortable and informed throughout their visit
Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
Perform lab work, including working with our in-office 3D printer
Take dental radiographs (X-rays)
Maintain accurate patient records and treatment notes
Provide post-op instructions and patient education
Help maintain a clean, organized, and fun work environment
Work collaboratively with the team to deliver top-notch patient care
What We’re Looking For:
A friendly, outgoing personality with a passion for patient care
Experience as a dental assistant; orthodontic experience for straight wire and Invisalign is required
X-ray certification
N2O certification
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
A team player who thrives in a supportive, upbeat environment
A willingness to grow and adapt with the practice as we expand
