Michael C. Byars DDS is seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our newly remodeled dental practice. The ideal candidate will be passionate about oral health and providing exceptional patient care. We are dedicated to providing exceptional dental care to our patients in a warm and friendly environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct dental cleanings and assist with dental procedures
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices
- Perform patient assessments and charting
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Administer local anesthetics under the direction of the dentist
- Follow aseptic techniques to ensure infection control
- Provide pediatric dental care as needed
Experience
- Previous experience with Dentrix software preferred
- Familiarity with medical records management
- Proficiency in patient assessment techniques
- Skilled in aseptic techniques for infection control
- Understanding of CAD/CAM technology for dental procedures
- Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
- Ability to take vital signs accurately
