Are you looking for a great job in Healthcare? I am looking for personal care for myself 2-3 Days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday). I am a 54 year-old C4-C5 Quadriplegic paralyzed from the shoulders down. I try to be Active and Independent but need a Caregiver every morning for 4-5 hours in Southwest Olathe. The shifts are from 6:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
The Job Description: Shower/Hygiene care, Bowel Program, Breakfast, Light housekeeping duties, Assist with ADL's, Transfers from bed/wheelchair or room-to-room easily with Overhead Ceiling-Lift-system.
I strive to maintain a casual and friendly work environment with lots of humor. Be prepared, some say my good looks are over-powered by my sense of humor.
A CNA is helpful but not required. On the job training is available. It's a great job for someone looking for part time work, a nursing student looking for experience (Resume Builder), or someone looking for a job in patient care and a good time rolled into one. I do ask that You and your vehicle are Dependable.
I PROMISE to train you well, pay you for your work, make you laugh and attempt to be the “Best Boss” you ever have. You must be willing to LAUGH at my jokes, drive to SW Olathe, leave any bag of life drama at home and SHOW UP for your assigned shifts (If I could do this on my own I wouldn't need you). Side Note: I do ask that you DON’T STEAL anything from my home or my credit cards (forgot to mention that to one past employee).
