The Residential Support Worker provides compassionate, hands-on assistance to individuals residing in supportive housing environments, including those with developmental disabilities, mental health challenges, or reentry needs. This role ensures the safety, dignity, and well-being of residents by delivering daily care, promoting independence, and fostering community integration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with personal care, daily living activities, and medication reminders
- Support individualized care plans and encourage skill-building for greater autonomy
- Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful living environment
- Document services provided and report any concerns to supervisory staff
- Facilitate recreational and social activities to enhance quality of life
- Uphold confidentiality and compliance with HCBS and other regulatory standards
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; CNA or DSP certification preferred
- Experience in residential care, behavioral health, or reentry support
- Strong interpersonal skills and a trauma-informed approach
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
