Job Description:
-Consistently work up to 10-15 hours a week at $16 an hour
-You can choose your own hours, but they must remain consistent from week to week. Additionally, they should be spread out over the week to maintain a steady workflow (e.g., Tuesday and Thursday evenings for five hours each).
- Additional hours may be available during weeks when extra help is needed.
-Provide coverage when we are out of town by handling essential tasks such as prepping shipments, photographing, describing, measuring, and organizing new inventory.
-This is a 1099 independent contractor position. A 1099 form will be issued for your worked hours, and you will be responsible for reporting your earnings on your taxes.
Responsibilities:
-Moving, cleaning, minor repairs, photographing, measuring, describing, and putting away furniture
-Adding photos to shared album and measurements and description to shared Google doc
-Pulling, setting up, touching up sold furniture. Taking and sending videos to shippers
-Packing and dropping off small and medium pieces as needed. They go to UPS and USPS and must be dropped before closing time.
Expectations:
-Must complete all assigned new pieces on each day
-Must have assigned shipments ready on time or ahead of schedule
-Must stick to the schedule you choose in order to allow for accurate planning on my part
-Must be able to move and maneuver large and heavy items (sometimes in excess of 100 pounds). Dollies and hand trucks are available.
-Must use Marco Polo app for seamless communication
