We are looking for a full-time shop manager/materials handler who preferably has forklift and/or skid steer driving experience. We want someone who preferable already has, or at a minimum wants to learn the skills necessary to manage our workshop and storage areas and materials. This position has the potential for advancement in the company that is only limited by your desire to work hard, learn, and perform.
RESPONSIBILITES: keep workshop and outdoor storage areas safe, clean, and well organized. Receive material deliveries and store them in an organized manner. Minimize waste. Deliver parts and materials to field crews when needed. stage and/or load materials for field crews when needed. retrieve and stage or load materials sold to customers and coordinate with office staff on billing of those materials. Keep track of material quantities, especially seed types and report to management when quantity of any material is low. Serve as laborer when needed. Other duties as assigned.

Ensures all site work is done professionally and to required specifications for site
Ensures job equipment & and materials are well kept, maintained, and utilized without waste
REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to physically work outdoors in all types of weather but primarily indoors
Strong attention to detail
Must be able to work weekends (occasionally) and extended hours as needed
forklift and/or skid steer experience preferred but not required
Current and valid driver’s license and must have reliable transportation.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
The employee is regularly required to: Have full range mobility in upper and lower body; Be able to work by walking, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching and lifting (up to 50 lbs.). Good vision requirements include distance vision, peripheral, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Candidates must have reliable transportation.
COMPENSATION:
Competitive salary 18 - 20/hr. + possible annual bonus
