Join a leading industrial distribution team and make an immediate impact as a Warehouse Associate. This temporary role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic warehouse setting in Independence/Kansas City, MO, where you'll help ensure products are efficiently received, stored, and shipped with the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities
Product Handling & Processing: Safely and efficiently perform inbound and outbound warehouse tasks such as unloading containers, sorting, labeling, replenishing, picking, packing, and auditing products.
Quality Assurance: Ensure products are handled and shipped accurately, exceeding customer expectations for speed, quality, and delivery.
Safety & Compliance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA regulations and hazardous material handling procedures.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members and leadership to meet productivity, quality, safety, and attendance targets.
Key Physical Requirements
Lifting & Manual Labor: Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. regularly, with team lifts for heavier items.
Work Conditions: Comfortable working in extreme temperatures, including both heat and cold, as well as exposure to noise, dust, and moving equipment.
Repetitive Tasks: Ability to perform repetitive tasks with speed and accuracy while adhering to safety guidelines.
Overtime Potential: Flexibility to work up to 2+ hours of overtime per shift as needed.
Qualifications
Previous experience in warehouse, retail, or customer service roles, particularly in fast-paced environments.
Strong commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Schedule
First Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM – Monday through Friday
or
Third Shift: 6:00 PM – 4:30 AM – Monday through Thursday
