Plastic Sheet Extrusion Machine Operator
EXT Plastics, a leading manufacturer of extruded plastic sheet located in Excelsior Springs, MO, just north of Kansas City, is seeking qualified candidates to work/train as sheet extrusion machine operators.
Two years set-up, running production machinery required. Plastic experience strongly preferred. Looking for quality-minded individuals that take safety very seriously and pride in what they do. Come grow with us. Applicants must apply in person.
Qualifications include:
High School diploma or G.E.D. required
Minimum 3 years’ experience in manufacturing, construction, or mechanical trade
Working knowledge of hand tools
Ability to stand and/or walk for majority of 8 hr. or 12 hr. shifts
Ability to occasionally bend, push and pull large torque wrenches
Ability to occasionally work on ladder
Ability to work in non-climate controlled environment
Job Responsibilities include:
Follow safety rules
Set up and changes on plastic sheet extrusion machine
Follow straightforward written product and quality requirements
Work with sheet inspector/stacker to achieve high quality product
Trouble shoot
