Production Estimator Assistant

We manufacture high quality precision machined parts, assemblies and tooling for the aerospace, defense, automotive, construction and other industries using the latest in advanced computerized mfg. tools & technology. Must be able to pass a drug screen, work weekends (rare)/overtime as the position requires.
We are looking for a Production Estimator Assistant that is willing to learn how to manage and maintain quotes to major aerospace companies.
Job Description
Summary
The Production Estimator Asst. will handle incoming and outgoing quotes. This entails getting quotes from outside vendors to supply material, hardware, and special outside processing.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned)
-Follow up on outside quotes.
-Speak with vendors via email and phone; set up and send out quotes.
-Other duties as assigned.
Education and/or Experience
-Email processing;
-Managing large amounts of data;
-Multitasking;
-Organizational skills;
-Proficient in customer relations;
-Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office;
-Organized and professional with a positive attitude;
-Works quickly but accurately;
-High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
