Executive Assistant to Executive Pastor (Part-Time – Kansas City Area)

About the Role:
A medium-size church in the Kansas City metro is hiring a part-time Executive Assistant to support the Executive Pastor. This is not just a support role—it’s a key ministry position for someone who thrives behind the scenes and finds joy in bringing structure, clarity, and excellence to a high-impact leader.
The right person will be professional, proactive, and deeply organized, with a heart for the local church and the ability to handle details, communication, and scheduling with wisdom and grace.
Responsibilities Include:
- Managing calendar appointments, meetings, and logistics
- Writing and responding to emails and correspondence with clarity and warmth
- Taking notes during meetings and ensuring proper follow-up
- Supporting the finance office with tasks like financial communications with the staff team, receipt collection, credit card reconciliations, audits, and occasional errands
- Organizing files, systems, and workflows to increase efficiency
- Anticipating needs before they arise and solving problems proactively
- Representing the Executive Pastor with professionalism and confidentiality
