Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Project Manager to oversee construction projects within two multifamily apartment communities located in Kansas City, Missouri. The ideal candidate will be fluent in both Spanish and English, possess experience in construction management, and show the capacity to manage a team while handling multiple tasks at the same time.
The position includes but is not limited to the following:
- Manage all aspects of construction projects within the multifamily apartment complex, from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Manage a team and hire a team of individuals to support any and all projects on the properties
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets, and monitor progress to identify and address any potential issues or delays.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and designers to review plans, specifications, and drawings, and provide input on construction methodologies and materials.
- Manage procurement processes, including obtaining bids, negotiating contracts, and overseeing the delivery of materials and equipment.
- Facilitate effective communication between project team members, stakeholders, and management, providing regular updates and reports on project status, milestones, and performance metrics.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry, with a focus on multifamily residential projects.
- Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and permitting processes in Kansas City, Missouri, preferred.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required for travel to project sites and meetings.
