A Sales Associate, or Retail Sales Associate, is responsible for assisting customers throughout the buying process. Their duties include greeting customers when they enter the store, helping customers find specific products or showing them how to use them and ringing up customer purchases on the POS register.
Qualifications
- Proficient in stocking, POS, and retail sales
- Skilled in basic math, cash register operation, and customer service
- Experience with product demos, sales, and phone etiquette
- Ability to speak multiple languages is a plus
- Strong organizational skills and time management abilities
- Previous experience in electronics or technical sales is advantageous
Requirements
- Must be able to do basic math on the spot.
- Required to operate PoS and cash register efficiently without error
- Basic customer service skills including phone etiquette
- Be able to provide customers with product demos and more in depth descriptions if asked
- Must have High-school diploma or G.E.D
