Responsibilities
Datacenter Systems Automation Developer
Responsible for the creation and testing of automation for data center operations. Automation will be for use within VMware vRealize Automation, VMware vRealize Orchestrator, and other datacenter automation and orchestration tolls. The primary focus will be on the automation of infrastructure deployments, repeatable operational tasks and development of a self-service portal. Independently develop, test, deploy data center automation capabilities including use of scripting, restAPI and HTML to enable automated data center operations via onprem capabiities, containerization, and in AWS and Azuer hosting environments. Support automation requirements for data center operations and enable hosting customer automation capabilities.
Qualifications
US Secret clearance, US Citizine, IAT Level II Certification
Requires 8 to 10 years with BS/BA or 6 to 8 years with MS/MA or 3 to 5 years with PhD.
Candidate must be of a senior level and possess intermediate knowledge of VMware vSphere - VMware Data Center Virtualization fundamentals at minimum, VCP preferred. Should have experience with VMware vRealize Automation and VMware vRealize Orchestrator, or other datacenter automation tools and prefer completion of VMware vRealize Automation Orchestration and Extensibility or Data Center Automation with vRealize Orchestrator and PowerCLI courses, 2-3 years of datacenter automation development experience, proficient with different programming/scripting languages, including JavaScript, bash, PowerShell, PowerCLI, and Python, experience with RESTful APIs, fundamental understanding of ITIL Processes, DOD Secret Clearance.
