KC Custom Woodworking is a family-owned cabinet shop located in the crossroads neighborhood in Kansas City, MO. We manufacture commercial casework and have been in business for 20 years. We are looking to hire and train individuals interested in learning to be a Cabinet Maker. Candidates must:
Enjoy building and working with their hands
Be motivated to learn cabinet making; willingness to take direction
Be dependable; a morning person
Display good math skills (ruler & fractions)
Be detail-oriented
Have proven ability to learn and retain knowledge
Have a high school diploma or equivalent
Be capable of lifting 25-50 lbs; use hands/fingers in precise, coordinated way; be able to stand for long periods of time
