Royal Autowerks is hiring for a “Lead Technician” position. The ideal candidate must be smart, reliable and have the confidence and desire to work across a broad range of vehicle makes. Our mix of work is about 10% domestic, 60% German, 15% Asian and 15% Exotics (Ferrari, Maserati, Lamborghini, Aston Martin, McLaren, etc.). We cater to hi-end vehicle owners but work with the entire car community. We offer comprehensive services to all customers, all makes, and all models.
Royal Autowerks is a small, high-capability, full-service auto-repair shop in the Overland Park area. We leverage top-end equipment, tools and facilities. Our equipment includes Hunter tire machines (Roadforce balancer and center-clamp changer), a John Bean optical aligner and comprehensive automotive tools. Our shop has 6 lifts (including two flush) and 8 bays. We are an air-conditioned shop and we work Monday thru Friday.
Senior technician (Level A): Currently interviewing for an experienced, full-time, senior technician. With 7+ years of experience working on both foreign and domestic cars and some light trucks. This hire is likely to have ASE certifications (though not required based previous work history). This tech is likely to provide the majority of his basic tools and also expected to be capable of working independently AND as part of a team as needed. This technician will be paid on flag hours ($30 - $40/per hour flag based on experience, quality, and volume) with a 30 hour per week guarantee. Medical and dental benefits are also available as are paid vacation time and holidays.
