Summit Boats is growing Marine Dealership. We are looking for someone to join our service team. The position will entail quite a bit of basic service in the spring months, including but not limited to oil changes, impeller changes, and tune ups, heavier diagnostic work in the summer, winterizations and other basic service in the fall, and projects in the winter.
Previous marine mechanic experience preferred but not required. Towing or forklift experience or basic mechanical knowledge also preferred. Must be a reliable team player and know how to multi-task. This is a fast paced, service oriented environment. Priorities sometimes shift very quickly. Must be easy to get along with. A positive, flexible, can-do attitude goes a long way here.
Nice to haves:
Boat Mechanical Experience (not a must)
Personal Standard Tools Preferred (not a must)
Shrink wrapping experience (not a must)
Valid Driver License (Required)
Boating Experience Preferred (operating, driving, and towing) also, not a must
Forklift Operating Experience is a plus
This position is a year round, 40 hour a week position. General operating hours are Monday through Friday,
9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Willing to do part time for the right individual.
