DRILL LEAD OPERATOR
(Pay Scale $37-$40 hour PLUS 50% of Crew Retention bonus and Footage average):
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Able to drive performance of the crew.
Read Maps and Prints
- Ability to operate and locate a directional drill.
- Ability to install underground conduit, pull cable and innerduct.
- Ability to operate all Underground Construction Equipment (Mini Excavator, Trencher, Plow, Vac and Skid steer).
- Ability to hand dig.
- Ability to provide basic service on equipment.
- Ability to restore and landscape areas of a jobsite.
- Ability to load materials.
- Ability to perform site set up and clean up.
- Ability to clean vehicles, trailers, tools and equipment (free of trash)
- Ability to safely and correctly direct multi-directional traffic and appropriate signage
- Ability to install above and below surface vaults and pedestals.
- Ability to asphalt potholes, repair and concrete sidewalk removal and replacement.
- Must Update Daily Company Data Program.
Qualifications
- Must have previous experience operating directional drill.
- Must have 6-8 years utility construction experience.
- Must have Class A CDL
- Must have the ability to operate manual and mechanical equipment.
- Must have the knowledge of or obtain knowledge of safety systems associated with trenching and/or drilling including set up and emergency procedures.
- Must have knowledge of reading locate sheets/maps.
Safety Responsibilities
- Must follow all safety rules at all times and not engage in unsafe acts.
- Must attend and participate in all safety meetings and training.
- Must use all issued safety equipment required for job.
- Must report all injuries, accidents, unsafe acts or conditions to Supervisor or Safety personnel.
DRILL LEAD OPERATOR BENEFIT PACKAGE:
Hourly rate potential: $37/hr. x 40 hours/week x 52 weeks/year = $76,960/year (Without any bonus and OT)

Excavation Operator
(Pay Scale $23-$28($30 with CDL PLUS 10% of Crew Retention bonus)
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Ability to operate mini excavator, backhoe, skid steer, & trencher
- Ability to provide basic service on equipment.
- Ability to clean vehicles, trailers, tools and equipment (free of trash)
- Ability to work under the direction of the site Manager and complete daily scheduled work.
- Ability to perform daily safety and maintenance checks.
- Ability to safely and correctly direct multi-directional traffic and appropriate signage
- Ability to ensure equipment is safely and securely stored.
- Ability to advise Manager of any required maintenance or repairs.
Qualifications

- Ability to splice Fiber Cable
- Ability to clean vehicles, trailers, tools and equipment (free of trash)
- Ability to perform daily safety and maintenance checks.
- Ability to safely and correctly direct multi-directional traffic and appropriate signage
- Ability to ensure equipment is safely and securely stored.
- Ability to advise Manager of any required maintenance or repairs.

- Must have ability to follow directions.
- Must provide own tools: #9 pliers, cable cutters, 10 or 12” crescent wrench, assorted screwdrivers and nut drivers, small sledge or hammer, tin snips, bell wrench, body belt, safety strap, gaffs, tool pouch
