Responsibilities: - Safely operate a dump truck to transport materials to and from job sites - Load and unload materials using heavy equipment, such as a forklift or front-end loader - Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving on public roads - Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the dump truck and report any maintenance or repair needs - Ensure that all materials are properly secured and distributed evenly in the dump truck bed - Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including the type and quantity of materials transported - Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at all times Qualifications: - Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for operating a dump truck - Experience operating heavy equipment, such as a forklift or front-end loader, is preferred - Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is required - Ability to safely load and unload materials using appropriate equipment - Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately - Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision - Good communication skills and ability to interact professionally with customers and coworkers Please note that this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
