TITLE: Principal DeveloperLOCATION: Maryland Heights, Missouri JOB SUMMARY:Provide technical expertise on the Spectrum Mobile Development team, which designs, develops, modifies, enhances, and implements software systems designed to support new or existing business initiatives. Guide team development efforts towards successful project delivery. Maintain high standards of software quality within the team by establishing good practices and habits. Collaborate with software developers, business analysts, and software architects to plan, design, develop, test, and maintain web- and desktop- based business applications. Design, develop, and unit test applications in accordance with established standards. Participate in peer-reviews of solution designs and related code. Package and support deployment of releases. Develop, refine, and tune integrations between applications. Assess opportunities for application and process improvement and prepare documents of rationale to share with team members and other affected parties. Responsible for compliance with company engineering standards, policies, and procedures. Design, code, and test applications using Java and J2EE. Build and develop Enterprise Web Applications using Spring MVC. Process big data and perform database operations using Oracle SQL. Develop Microservices using Spring Boot. Write unit test cases using Junit and test applications using Mockito.EDUCATION/REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor’s Degree, or foreign equivalent, in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. 4 years of experience designing, coding, and testing applications using Java and J2EE; building and developing Enterprise Web Applications using Spring MVC; and processing big data and performing database operations using Oracle SQL.3 years of experience developing Microservices using Spring Boot; and writing unit test cases using Junit and testing applications using Mockito.
