What you’ll do:As a Belt Technician at Applied Industrial Technologies, you’ll help our customers by fabricating and repairing a variety of belts and rubber components both in the shop and onsite. Some more details about what you will be doing includes the following:Install and vulcanize conveyor belting.Pick up and deliver orders, stock and supplies.Travel nationally with a team of trained technicians to perform conveyor installs and repairs at customer locations.Work in a manner that ensures the safety of everyone involved. Qualifications for this Career Opportunity Knowledge of general office work and principles and practices of customer service. General knowledge of public assistance programs. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Interpersonal, positive minded, time management, and organizational skills. Ability to work with the public, and maintain professional working relationships with peers, supervisors, providers and other agency staff.
