Description:This client makes pet food taste great!This client is the leader in pet food palatability (flavor). Ensuring product performance for pet food manufacturers – and their customers – is our business. Working as an animal care tech allows you to work with both cats and dogs. This job is focused on animal care and you will not have to work with customers. Main Responsibilities: -Maintains kennels and facility areas -Ensure facility is organized, sanitized, and free of odors -Feed cats and dogs on schedule-Ensures animals have access to clean water -Uses the provided pet toys to play and socialize animals -Bathes and grooms animals-Prepares pet food for scheduled feedings -Weighs left over food and disposes of food accordingly -Maintains documentation on dogs and cats and updates this information accordingly -Maintains a supportive and collaborative environment -Provides exceptional animal careSkills:farm hand, dog, cat, animal husbandry, animal science, animal breeding, vivarium, husbandry, veterinaryAdditional Skills & Qualifications:H.S.
