You will work alongside a team of production workers to ensure our products are produced at the optimal level. You will physically operate an extrusion line in a way that ensures all products are produced free from cosmetic and physical defects and are within manufacturing tolerances. You are responsible for the quality of the product run and adjusts/documents operating conditions to produce the highest attainable quality of pipe in a safe and efficient manner.What we offer:

Day shift: 8am-8pm or 8p-8amPay Rate: $19.50/HR (with a $2/HR SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL FOR NIGHT SHIFT)This is what you'll do:Properly monitors extrusion production including produced product, equipment, performs quality checks on product and maintains the coiling area
Assist to start reels, set up and monitors product for quality and conformity
Monitors operating parameters of product and extrusion equipment to confirm that product materials and quality requirements are being met
Maintains accurate documentation of all product dimensions on production reports and accurately tracks "Lost Production Hours" including the reasons for lost time
Ensures pipe is marked with proper print line as specified in the quality manual
Follows all company-standard and position-specific safety requirements, and reports any unsafe working conditions or broken equipment
Follows and complies with all company policies and procedures
Performs any other duties assigned by the Supervisor and/or Production ManagerThis is what it takes: Educational Requirements
1-year extrusion or manufacturing experience preferred
Ability to read and write English, with an ability to perform simple math, and take measurements, Bi-Lingual a Plus!
Nice to have: Working knowledge of extruders, printers, reelers, quality control standards, and product specificationsOccupational and/or Physical Requirements
Understanding of paperwork procedures and documentation requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable assistance
Ability to spend up to 12 hours a shift on foot around hot machinery (continental)
