- Follow instruction sheet to properly assemble upfits into vehicles
- Identify and correct defects in product or workmanship
- Use hand tools to assemble and attach pieces
- Observe machine operation to detect work piece defects or machine malfunction
- Ensure implementation of quality and safety procedures
- Work with other associates to set up machine
- Stack, mark, pack and transport finished parts
- Maintain a clean and orderly work areaRequirements for Production Associate:
- Able to lift up to 35lbs
- Able to stand for duration of shift
- Able to reach and grab with hands and arms
- Able to stoop, bend and kneel as needed
- Ableto read a tape measure to an 16th of an inch
- Ableto read and understand work instructions and bar graphs
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Goodhand-eyecoordination
- Previous experience in automotive or electrical assembly a plus
