Construction Equipment Lead

Reporting to the Operations Manager, this position significantly contributes to the manufacturing and distribution of high quality electrical equipment. This position will support a variety of manufacturing processes.WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:In this position, you will get to:

Provide ownership of inventory management. Responsible for inventory receipts, inventory transfers, new item setup, and cycle counting.

Coordinate equipment returns from customers with Customer Service, Sales Managers, and Service Department.

Utilize Worldship and LTL shipping software to ship customer orders.

Facilitate material handling functions using forklifts.

Develop production schedule based on customer demand.

YOU HAVE:

High school diploma or equivalent

Strong verbal and written communication

Moderate computer skills (Outlook, Excel, and ERP)

Strongorganizationalskills

Understanding of lean manufacturing principles

Ability to stand for 8 hours throughout shift.

Motivation and desire to work hard.

Willingness to work overtime when required.

Ability to bend, lift up to 50lbs periodically.

Previousmanufacturingexperiencerequired

Management of inventory (Raw, WIP, and FG)

Demonstratedexperienceimplementingprocessimprovements

Infrequent domestic travel
