job detailsRandstad is currently working with a Manufacturing company in Riverside, MO. They are currently hiring a Tool Room Technician role at their facilty. Our client is a leading source of plastics manufacturing, supplying the automotive industry for over 50 years. This is Full-Time Permanent role with our client. Qualitications:
5 years of experience with plastic injection molds and experience in mold making/repair.
Experience in operating various machinery equipment including adept use of an overhead crane.
Ability to read tooling prints, hydraulic and electrical circuit prints and diagrams.
Technical training and/or experience on CNC, EDM and Mill.
Also, a Tool Technician must have their own toolbox and an assortment of mold making and repair tools.
salary: $68,640 - $72,800 per yearshift: Secondwork hours: 2:15 PM - 10:45 PMeducation: High SchoolResponsibilities
Maintaining tools in optimal working condition.
Performing preventative maintenance activities.
Performing minor engineering changes.
Assisting in troubleshooting and using tools for repair.
Assisting the Supervisor in training associates in the proper care and use of tools.
Assuring proper inventory levels of required replacement parts for all tools.
Following all prescribed internal tooling procedures.
Assisting Process Engineers, Plant Engineers and the Tech Center in implementing process improvement changes.
Participating in corresponding root cause analysis and corrective actions.
The essential functions of this role include:
manual lifting up to 25lbs
standing for 8 hours at one time
