Eight (8) Temporary Full-Time Landscape Technician (Landscaping/Groundskeeping worker) needed from 04/01/2024 to 12/15/2024 at Straight Edge Lawn Care, LLC to landscape and maintain grounds of property using hand or power tools or equipment such as commercial mowers, trimmers, blowers to perform a variety of tasks, which include any combination of the following: sod laying, mowing, trimming, planting, watering, digging, raking, assist with moving materials to assist sprinkler installation. All work performed under the direct supervision. Position will report to Landscaping Crew Supervisor. Must be able to lift weight as required to carry and use landscaping equipment and material needed for assigned tasks. Employer will rely on assurances of workers at the time of hire and on Employer's observation to confirm worker meets physical requirements. Able to tolerate outdoor work temperature reasonably expected in the St. Louis MO-IL MSA (over 90 degrees and under 32 degrees Fahrenheit possible). Generally, 8-hour workdays, 40 hour workweeks, Monday to Friday 7am to 3:30pm. No experience, education, or training is required. Training will be provided on-the-job. Workers report each morning to 9410 Baltimore Avenue, Overland, MO 63114. Company provides daily transportation to job sites. Work will predominantly occur in St. Louis and St. Charles Counties, Missouri and all work is within the St. Louis MO-IL MSA. Workers will return to 9410 Baltimore Avenue, Overland, MO 63114 at the end of the day. Wage of $17.58per hour with possible overtime at Employer's discretion at wage of $26.37per hour.All deductions from the worker's paycheck required by law will be made. Workers will be paid no less frequently than every two weeks. A single workweek will be used to compute wages due. Employer will make reimbursement to workers who complete at least 50 percent of the work term certified as indicated above for subsistence and travel and, if required, lodging; from their home from which they departed to work for employer to place of employment if relocating outside the St. Louis MO-IL MSA. Employer also will pay for return home transportation; lodging, if required, and; subsistence costs for travel from the place of employment to the workers home from which they departed to come work for employer (disregarding intervening employment) if the worker completes work for entire term of certified employment or is dismissed from employment early. Travel reimbursement to be the lowest cost bus fare (and overnight lodging if required) between the Employer's Place of Business in St. Louis County, Missouri and worker's home. Subsistence reimbursement to be by cash stipend or reimbursement within first week fo employment limited to a minimum of $15.88 per day and a maximum amount verified by receipts of $59.00 per day of travel and lodging, if required. Employer will also reimburse the worker for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other H-2B related processing fees (excluding worker passport fees) incurred by the worker within the first week of work. All tools of trade and supplies and equipment required to complete job duties to be provided by Employer without charge or deposit.
