Role: Automation Test Engineer Salesforce

Project Scope:
We are looking for Sr. SDET (Java automation Test engineer with Selenium) engineer with Selenium for long term projects the work location is O'Fallon, MO. Payment Wallet innovation is leading the digital convergence of traditional and emerging payments technologies across a wide variety of new devices and services. Client is developing the next generation of Security infrastructure and services to enable consumers and businesses to securely, efficiently, and intelligently conduct payment transactions for traditional retail, mobile, or e-commerce.
Roles & Responsibilities
Coordinate and participate in the review and testing activities to ensure the quality and functionality of assigned developed systems.
Assist project team in identifying and monitoring project testing risks and issues
Perform automated and manual testing and validate results to confirm adherence and conformance to installation standards and methodologies. Review user manuals for accuracy.
Ensure timely and accurate communication with Development Leads, Project Manager and Senior Management throughout the life cycle of the project.
Ability to coordinate and interact across multiple departments.
Review project test and implementation schedules. Monitor, document, and report the current status of projects. Participate in review of project deliverables.
Actively participate in all aspects of the Agile process to include story pointing, attending elaboration sessions and creating acceptance criteria.
Manage defect resolution process and support outside testing environments such as Testing Services.
Follow and promote Quality Assurance and Quality Control processes in the department. Actively look for opportunities to enhance standards and improve process efficiency. Mentor and guide other team members during all phases of the SDLC. Ensure adequate test coverage System Testing/Integration and Regression Testing
Required Skills :
Should have 8+ years of Java Test Development, primarily as an architect or consultant creating and driving Automation Test Strategy
Experience in Test and Behavior Driven Development (TDD and BDD), Jbehave/Cucumber frameworks
Strong Java development skill, Eclipse IDE, Spring, Junit
Experience with code versioning tools such as GIT or SVN
Analyze code review reports and development quality to make sure best practices are being followed
Strong Automation skill on Selenium/Webdriver
Experience in testing Web services, SOAP UI Pro, APIs (REST/SOAP)
Experience in Salesforce
Experience in Mobile application testing & automation (Multiple OS/Browsers, device)
Good Exposure to DevOps and IT environment automation practices (Continuous Integration and Delivery, Tools such as Jenkins/Bamboo/Chef)
Develops/monitors quality gating and automation strategy for a given project looking at code coverage and API vs. UI level functionality
Expertise in agile and waterfall delivery, life-cycle management tools (JIRA/Rally/Rational Concert/Quality Center), software testing standards, methods and conventions.
Preferred Skills:
Exposure to Device/Browser compatibility
Experience in Mobile application testing & automation (Multiple OS/Browsers, device)
Good Exposure to DevOps and IT environment automation practices (Continuous Integration and Delivery, Tools such as Jenkins/Bamboo/Chef)
Develops/monitors quality gating and automation strategy for a given project looking at code coverage and API vs. UI level functionality
Qualifications:
Engineering graduates in Computer Science background preferred.
