Our client, a leading international chemical company, is looking to add a Bilingual (Spanish/English) Customer Account Specialist to their St. Louis, MO team. Description:Scope: This posting is responsible for managing the order to invoice process for customers including timely delivery, meeting product requirements and accurate invoicing. This position will work closely with sales and supply chain departments to fully satisfy customer expectations. This individual must provide the highest quality customer service and represent the company in a positive professional manner at all times.Major Responsibilities/Accountabilities:Enter orders received via fax, email and phone into SAP systemResolve all non-technical inquires including tracing shipments, providing prices and product availability datesResolve order and service issues by gather and analyzing facts and data to identify immediate solutionsEnter Customer Feedback ReportsCommunicate Material Safety Data Sheets, Tech Sheets, Certifications of Analysis and other required documentation to customersProvide sales support to assigned Sales Account Managers, including issue resolution, pricing maintenance and other customer needsCoordinate with shipping locations, production planners, transportation and credit to ensure seamless order transactionsSome export management including: handling Letters of Credit, coordinate bookings with freight forwarders and preparing documentationSupport order management through customer’s portalsResolve payment discrepancies and support invoice collectionsTeam project work for process improvementCall customers to engage on forecast requirementsExport management including handling Letters of Credit, coordinate bookings with freight forwarders, and preparing documentationSkills & Qualifications:Bilingual - Spanish/English2+ years of order management experience in a manufacturing environment required, export experience preferredExperience with an ERP system, SAP experience preferredMicrosoft Word and Excel (pivot tables, formulas, sort/filter)Positive attitudeProven oral and written communication with clientsStrong analytical and problem solving abilitiesAble to make timely decisions, organized, efficient and demonstrates time management skillsAbout Aston Carter: Please Note: Scammers are posing as Aston Carter.
