Responsibilities:

Design and deploy scalable,highly available, and secure cloud network architectures using Azure.

Implement and manage virtual networks, subnets, network security groups, VPNs, and Azure Firewall.

Monitor and optimize network performance, ensuring high availability and disaster recovery capabilities.

Configure and manage load balancers, DNS, and other network-related services in Azure.

Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate cloud services with on-premises networks.

Troubleshoot network issues and implement necessary fixes and improvements.

Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for network security and data protection.

Stayup-to-datewith the latest Azure updates, features, and networking technologies.

Develop andmaintaindocumentation for network configurations, procedures, and best practices.

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

3+ years of experience in network engineering, with a focus on cloud environments.

Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure, including Azure Virtual Network, VPN Gateway, Azure Firewall, Azure Load Balancer, and ExpressRoute.

Strong knowledge of networking concepts and protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, and IPsec.

Proficiencyin network security principles and technologies (firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention, VPNs).

Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, Terraform, or similar.

Familiarity with scripting and automation (PowerShell, Python, etc.).

Azure certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Network Engineer Associate) are highly desirable.

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.

Strong communicationand teamwork abilities.

Experience with Kubernetes

Preferred Skills:

Experience with hybrid cloud environments and integration with on-premises infrastructure.

Knowledge of other cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud) is a plus.

Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (CI/CD, Git, Jenkins).

Understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).

Work with various teams and vendors to implement and troubleshoot network, security, and application solutions to business problems in a timely manner

Provide escalated support services to employees and clients with technical problems regarding IT issues

Implement security controls, defenses, and countermeasures to prevent internal and external attacks on the company’s information systems

Ensure systems are compliant with company security standards

Provide support for priority issues including on-call support during non-business hours

Develop and maintain systems documentation to include administration guides, network, and configuration diagrams

Experience implementing, managing, and troubleshooting various Cisco networking and security products

Experience managing and monitoring system security and health for hundreds of network devices

Experience managing, upgrading, and deploying Microsoft Active Directory and associated technologies

Experience managing Microsoft System Center products

Experience managing Solarwinds Orion products
