Clinical Excellence ManagerThe Leidos QTC Health Services Clinical Excellence Manager will be an integral member of the Clinical Excellence Team, responsible for driving Leidos QTC clinical quality improvement initiatives across the Leidos QTC Health Services enterprise. The Clinical Excellence Manager is a highly collaborative leader who leverages their healthcare background and experience to improve quality and performance of Clinical operations. The Clinical Excellence Manager is a full-time position reporting to the VP of Clinical Excellence.Typical Pay Range:Salary: $135,000- $188,000 with up to9% Annual Bonus EligibilityEssential Duties and Responsibilities:
Support a culture of ongoing assessment and continuous improvement that promotes an exceptional experience for our customers and our people
Define metrics and reporting to measure and guide improvement in program delivery
Facilitate the selection and scope of specific clinical quality improvement initiatives/projects while coordinating with leaders to eliminate barriers and raise awareness
Perform root cause analysis, gap assessments, business process design, and implement recommendations to resolve issues
Monitor and audit organizational compliance with clinical practice guidelines, healthcare regulations and safety standards
Assess Leidos QTC Health Services clinical practices, processes, policies, and operations to ensure the highest level of clinical quality and performance
Identify and coordinate with subject matter experts as needed
Develop and track risk mitigation and issue resolution plans
Collaborate with operations leads and Leidos QTC Health Services leadership to estimate work effort, cost, and resources needed to implement clinical process improvements
Create business cases to support the ROI and value of clinical quality initiatives
Develop tools and measures to effectively manage and communicate change to impacted teams and resources
Collaborate with various teams and business units to communicate process changes impacting Leidos QTC Health Services providers, ancillary staff, and our customers
Present updates, report findings, and share progress in implementation plans to both internal leadership and to customers
Support the development of a Clinical Excellence framework to enable accelerated growth of Leidos QTC managed health services across lines of business while improving clinical quality and performance
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications and Competencies:
Knowledge of clinical standards, practice guidelines, and healthcare systems
Proven leadership, project management, and business acumen skills
An ability to effectively manage competing priorities, managing multiple projects, with a strong sense of urgency
Strong problem-solving skills
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, with all levels of internal and external customer organizations
Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Work Environment:
Leidos QTC Healthcare Services Office or work at home
Ability to travel to clinical practice locations and/or Leidos QTC Healthcare Services office locations
Physical Requirements:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for prolonged periods of time and talk and hear. The employee is required to use hands to operate a standard computer keyboard. Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelor of Science degree in healthcare related field
10 years of experience in healthcare or related field
4 years of clinical practice or healthcare management experience preferred
Experience with clinical standards and practice guidelines
