Position Overview
Young Custom Solutions LLC is seeking a reliable and skilled Handyman to join our team. As a Handyman, you will perform a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks for both commercial and residential properties. This role requires a proactive individual with a strong work ethic, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities
Perform general repairs and maintenance, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting.
Conduct inspections of structures to identify potential issues and recommend solutions.
Assemble furniture, fixtures, and equipment as needed.
Install, repair, and maintain doors, windows, and locks.
Respond promptly to service requests from clients, ensuring quality and timely completion of work.
Operate and maintain tools and equipment effectively and safely.
Communicate professionally with clients to explain work performed and address any questions or concerns.
Keep accurate records of completed tasks, materials used, and project timelines.
Adhere to company safety policies and procedures at all times.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Willingness to Learn: Open to acquiring new skills and adapting to various maintenance and repair tasks.
Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot issues and determine effective solutions.
Customer Service Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to maintain positive client relationships.
Attention to Detail: Precision in completing repairs and ensuring the quality of work.
Basic knowledge of maintenance and repair tools and techniques.
Physical stamina and ability to lift/move heavy objects as required.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in maintenance, repairs, or a related field is a plus.
Familiarity with safety protocols and building codes.
