Responsibilities:
Respond to customer feedback and implement improvements as necessary
Lead and motivate a team of restaurant staff, including servers, cooks and support staff
Assist in managing the restaurant's budget, control costs and maximize profitability
Monitor sales and expenses, implement pricing strategies and participate in financial planning
Create a positive work environment, set performance expectations and provide ongoing training and feedback to ensure exceptional service and efficiency
Train new and existing staff on IHOP's policies, procedures and service standards; identify skill gaps and facilitate ongoing training programs to enhance team performance
Foster a culture of guest-centric service, ensuring all guests have a memorable dining experience by addressing their needs, resolving issues and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere
Monitor and optimize workflows to maximize efficiency through overseeing day-to-day restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management and adherence to IHOP's quality and safety standards
Qualifications:
Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to addressing operational challenges
Demonstrated leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team
Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with guests, staff and management
Willingness to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays as per business needs
A genuine passion for providing exceptional customer service and a commitment to exceeding guest expectations
One year of previous experience in a supervisory or management role within the restaurant or hospitality industry is preferred
