We will be burying fiber optic cables. We use a directional drill to bore driveways and a cable plow whenever possible to bury the cable. I need a laborer to help with locating equipment for bore machine, and to use a pick and shovel to help dig when we have to hand dig. Experience in the Underground utility industry would be great, but not required. The main thing is being able to use a pick and shovel and dig in the Missouri dirt/rock around existing utilities. The position will be part to full time in winter and full time in spring and summer. No tools required, just proper work attire(jeans, work boots, and gloves). Please have reliable transportation to get back and forth to work as well. For anyone who has the drive to move up, there will also be opportunities to eventually become an operator. Hours are approximately 8-9am to 4-5pm in the winter and 7am to dark in the summer. We work around the weather, so it might be 3-4 days a week or 6 days a week depending on conditions.
