Overview:
Applying and inspecting anti-splitting devices to the ends of railroad ties.
Essential Duties, Responsibilities, and Requirement: include the following, but not limited to:
Tack on the anti-splitting device using a hammer.
Work safely in an industrial environment.
Follow OSHA safety guidelines.
Be able to work outdoors year-round.
Keep workspace clean.
Communicate clearly with others.
Self-starter and self-motivated individual that requires minimal supervision.
Exhibit teamwork and act with empathy and focus while resolving problems.
Must be able to work with your hands all day, holding and using tools.
Needs to wear provide own safety footwear.
Willing to Cross Train in other departments.
Be comfortable around heavy machinery.
