Quality Control Technician - Prestressed Casting Co.

The hiring process takes as little as 2 days or less, and does requires passing a drug screen and physical.

· Starting pay from $18 - $20 per hour based on experience. Upward mobility available for those that excel and show an interest in the company.

· This job does not require traveling; you show up to the same location every day.

· We offer on the job training; all skill types are welcome. No prior experience is required, however experience in construction and/or concrete industries is a plus.

· We consider all applicants regardless of criminal history.

Overtime pays daily without 40 hours minimum and 8 paid holidays

Locations:

We have two plant facilities. You are required to work at either location at any given time.

Position Description: Quality Control Technician.

Perform all tasks associated with verifying form setup accuracy, concrete quality, concrete strength and cable tension.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

Check forms for accuracy including dimensions, details and returns.

Verify reinforcing, hardware conformance and placement (pre-pour and post-pour)

Work with drafting and production staff to solve discrepancies

Perform and record cable tensions

Perform lab duties including but not limited to breaking cylinders, moisture contents, gradations and recording of all information.

Working Conditions:

The performance of this position requires exposure to outdoor manufacturing area that require the use of personal protective equipment such as a hard hat, safety glasses and mandatory hearing protection and you will be exposed to varying weather conditions.

Physical requirements

This position may require the need to stand for long periods. Lift 20 lbs . throughout the day and occasionally up to 75 lbs. Consistent moving, bending, and reaching is required to perform duties. Must be able to respond to visual and audio safety warning devices and instructions from others.

Expected Hours of Work: Standard days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. but may vary according to production schedule. Occasional early, evening, or weekend work maybe required as well as overtime on some Saturdays due to workload.

Personal Situation:

Must be able to commute to both the Springfield and or Ozark Plant reliably for work. Must be able to work extended hours when required per workload.
