You do not have to be an expert or even have experience in this field to be successful in this position. Ace Reman has an extensive training program to teach and train an individual to be a success. Ace has a unique pay plan that can make a re builder have a very rewarding career. An individual will inspect all components during assembly. One must be organized, attentive to detail and willing to learn the processes of transmission re manufacturing. This position requires an individual who is a decision maker, can utilize various types of tools, machinery and gauging equipment. Individual must have an eye for detail a strong hand and dexterity and problem-solving skills. individual must possess basic computer skills
The transmission re manufacturing process is divided into 4 parts.
Part 1 Disassembly, you will be utilizing several types of tools such as impact gun and hand tools, the individual will be disassembling the entire transmission which includes removal of screws, bolts, rings, seals, gears, valve body etc. After removing the parts you would be loading parts in a basket and prepping to be washed.
Part 2 Inspect Parts The individual will enter the tag number of the transmission into the computer, they will inspect all parts for damage and order parts needed. This position will require using a sanding block, parts washers, dye grinders and hand tools.
Part 3 Sub assembly final inspection of all hard parts removal and replacing bushings, utilizing a press measuring clutch clearances. Using feeler gauges.
Part 4 Final Assembly will utilize several types of tools including impact gun, torque wrench, gauges, hand tools, the assembly process includes bolting the case to an assembly stand and rotating the case several times while in the assembly process. Install and align pistons, rings, planetary gears, pans, pump sub assembly valve body and other parts. An individual will inspect all components during assembly.
