Position Title: Manufacturing
Wage: $12/hour
Shift: 1st
Hours: 6am-2:30pm
Excellent temp to hire opportunity in Manufacturing. 1st shift Mon-Friday with possible OT. Benefits package and raise potential upon hire.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assemble and disassemble or torque converter assemblies and sub-assemblies
- Tear down and cleanup of transfer cases
- Set up and use various machines
- Inspect parts, tag defective parts for disposition by quality
- Use hand tools and power tools to ensure proper fit, adjustment, or friction
- Perform washing, cleaning, checking, inspection, tool changes, packaging, machining, material handling and repair
- Use precision measuring equipment to ensure customer specifications are met
Requirements:
- High school diploma/GED
- Prior manufacturing experience
- Forklift, welding and familiarity with IATF 19649/ISO 14001 preferred
- Ability to operate various machinery including CNC, drill press, lathes, welders, grit blasters and balancing
- Knowledge of torque converters
- Good mechanical skills, ability to use calipers and pneumatic tools
- Basic math and reasoning skills
- Able to read and follow work instructions
- Ability to work in an environment with possible exposure to temperature variances, noise, dust, and fumes
- Ability to work in the hot/cold environments, warehouse is not climate controlled
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 75 pounds, 40-50 pounds regularly
- Must have good attention to detail
