Manufacturing Tech Responsibilities:
- Manufacture torque converter assemblies and sub-assemblies
- Tear down and clean up transfer cases
- Set up and operate various machines
- Inspect parts, tag defective parts for disposition by Quality
- Use hand tools and power tools to ensure proper fit, adjustment or friction
- Perform washing, cleaning, checking, inspection, tool changes, packaging, machining, material handling and repair
- Use precision measuring equipment to ensure customer specifications are met
Requirements for Manufacturing Tech:
- Previous manufacturing experience
- Basic math and reasoning skills
- Able to read and follow work instructions
- Able to work in an environment with possible exposure to temperature variances, noise, dust and fumes
- Good mechanical skills with ability to use calipers and pneumatic tools
- Able to work in non-climate-controlled environment
- Able to lift, push, and pull up to 75 pounds
