Position Title: Production
Wage: $17/hour
Shift: 1st, 2nd
Hours: 5:30am-2pm, 1:30pm-10pm
QPS Employment Group is hiring for a Production role at a company in Springfield, MO. This is a contract to hire position.
Production Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Maintain edging machines and a clean working environment
- Keep machines calibrated, with all wheels in good working order
- Ensure a steady and safe pace while operating the edger
- Exercise extreme caution when unloading and loading glass
- Maintain strict tolerances on product; will tolerate no more than a 1/16" variation from the glass ordered to the glass produced
- Completion of next-day product before shift has ended
- Be punctual when returning from breaks
- Seam any edges that don’t get polished but do call for seaming, or get tampered
- Check with supervisor before clocking out for the day
Production Requirements:
- Must be able to work in non-temperature-controlled environment
- Stand for 8-10 hours at a time
- Lift over 55lbs
- Attention to detail
- Good attendance
