Position Title: Shipping/Receiving
Wage: $18.75/hour
Shift: 1st
Hours: Tuesday-Saturday 7:30am-4pm
QPS Employment Group is hiring for a Shipping/Receiving role in the Springfield, MO area. This is an associate to hire opportunity.
Shipping/Receiving Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Properly weighing, labeling, storage, and shipment of finished goods
- Handle receiving of incoming shipments, and ensure documentation is accurate and goes to the right personnel
- Monitor inventory levels and initiate orders when necessary
- Movement of materials within the plant
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area, and responsible for cleanliness in the warehouse area
- Conduct cycle counts of finished goods and raw materials, and maintain inventory levels
- Competent to backfill shipper/receiver position II
Shipping/Receiving Requirements:
- Stand and work for 12-hour shifts
- Lift up to 25lbs regularly
- Interpersonal skills to communicate in accurate manner to individuals and team
- Ability to display diplomacy in day-to-day interactions with the commitment to task with awareness of urgency
- Work independently and add value to plant
- Regular attendance
