The Forklift Driver is responsible for picking and palletizing orders, loading and unloading trucks, delivering supplies between plants, cleaning warehouse and cooler areas, and completing shipping and receiving paperwork. This position will have responsibilities including forklift operation, operating a mechanical device, and using the shrink wrap machine.

Maintain a safe and clean working environment.

Follow all company safety rules, regulations and documentation. Ensure that training is up to date and documented.

Clean all equipment in accordance with the SOP's.

Maintain control of all equipment and tools.

Palletize product and layers stack up to five feet, place cover on and shrink wrap.

Ability to maneuver product within freezer and cooler to fill the space to its capacity.

Must understand flour and oil system and assist in unloading of these supplies.

Must be able to perform work in an unsupervised environment.

Ability to load and unload semi-trailers in a safe and efficient manner.

Ability to use a handheld scanner and complete shipping and receiving paperwork

Ability to use a warehouse management system

Must be willing to assist in other duties and areas of the plant as assigned to do so.

The essential functions of this role include:

wearing steel toe shoes

working in a non-temperature controlled environment

manual lifting up to 50lbs

working weekends

Sit Down Forklifts (5 years of experience is required)

Moving Material (5 years of experience is required)

Basic Computer Skills (5 years of experience is required)

Stand Up Forklifts (5 years of experience is required)

Order Processing (5 years of experience is required)

Typing Skills (5 years of experience is required)
