Customer Service Representative State Farm Insurance
We are an established, successful State Farm Insurance agency in the Affton / Shrewsbury area looking for an outstanding Customer Service professional to join our growing team.
We are seeking to add a team member with customer service experience who wants to make a positive impact in the lives of others, helping them plan for the unexpected.
The ideal candidate is trustworthy, brings a strong work ethic, and will appreciate our friendly, small office environment. We are seeking a service-minded multitasker with strong communication skills to provide an excellent experience for our customers. We draw satisfaction from offering our clients peace of mind, knowing that they are properly managing their financial risks.

POSITION OFFERED: Customer Service Representative
CAPACITY: Office-based, Full-time
REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
● Customer Service experience
● Excellent communication skills: written and oral
● Detail oriented
● Computer skills, ability to learn and master company software programs
● Self-motivated
● Proactive in problem solving
● Ability to work in a team environment
● Ability to assess customer needs and identity gaps on customers’ coverage
● Property & Casualty license (or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire)
● Life & Health license (or ability to obtain with 60 days of hire)
PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
● Prior experience servicing and selling insurance products
● Office management experience a plus
● Trustworthy, strong work ethic, team player
WE ARE OFFERING:
● Compensation: Salary $40,000 to $50,000 per year, DOE, plus commissions
● Training and support, skills development
● Licensing paid by agent, as needed
