Kids International Early Childhood Education is looking for a Lead Teacher for our Two-year old classroom.
Kids International is a NAEYC Accredited, Reggio Emilia inspired child care center serving families in West St. Louis County for over 20 years. The hours for the Lead Teacher position are 7:30 a.m - 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. These hours are guaranteed!
Qualified candidates must:
Have a minimum of an Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
Have at least one year of experience as a Lead Teacher in a child care center
Be able to work well in a team environment.
Be energetic, flexible, patient, loving and creative.
Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
Must possess strong organizational skills and be able to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
Successful candidates will have a working knowledge of Project Construct, Reggio Emilia and Developmentally Appropriate Practices.
Responsibilities include:
Lesson planning
Creating individual developmental milestone goals
Parent-Teacher conferences
Anecdotal note taking
Daily record keeping and day notes for each child
Supervising Assistant Teachers
Daily Cleaning
