Job Title: Blend Technician/Operator/FillerJob DescriptionThe Mixer Blender Technician will perform routine process operations related to the manufacture of chemical and personal care products. This includes weighing, mixing, and formulating ingredients in an accurate, safe, and timely manner. The position requires accurate and complete documentation of all activities and ensuring product quality by adhering to various regulatory requirements and internal standards.Responsibilities
Operate forklifts, pumping, blending, and filling equipment.
Weigh material and pump ingredients into and out of blend tanks, mixing drums, and totes.
Sanitize all equipment, following batch records.
Calculate and accurately measure ingredients.
Accurately record production information and material usage on batch records.
Maintain production logs as necessary.
Monitor equipment performance and report deficiencies.
Ensure proper housekeeping of the work areas.
Essential Skills
6 months batching or mixing experience in a chemical, personal care products, or related process.
Ability to push and pull full drums on a conveyor.
Ability to lift at least 50 pound bags, empty drums, or filled pails.
Ability to climb stairs or ladders repeatedly, walk, stand, and operate a forklift
Capability to move and connect 3” hoses.
Ability to withstand outside temperatures in winter or summer.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Ability to perform warehouse inventory tasks.
Experience in maintaining production logs and conducting in-process quality checks.
Persons with color blindness may be impaired for this type of duty.
