Research prospects/ Prepares materials (i.e. letters, agreements, marketing updates) for prospect,
COI or client meetings and presentations.
Compiles reports for prospects, COI or client meetings and
presentations.
Makes necessary arrangements for prospect, COI or client meetings
involving travel, audio-visual aides, seminar/lunch/dinner reservations,
meetings, seminars, etc
Performs special projects (i.e. coordinating reports, data analysis, preparing account analysis and workflow reports) that require responding to specific
account inquiries and issues.
Work with prospect database to implement proactive campaigns and approaches to external outreach.
Reviews and organizes all asset/family information and trust
documents to assess the bank's appointment status, and any
discrepancies between documents. Reviews all correspondence and
accompanying documentation from prospects and attorneys to
assimilate all possible information about new business opportunity.
Submits account documents to the legal area and external attorneys
after inspecting them to ensure adherence to established guidelines
and to obtain missing information, correct documents, clarify
information, and resolve problem situations.
Works with Wealth Strategists to maintain active prospect files and
reminders to initiate calls for making forward progress.
Composes letters to prospective clients and follows up with telephone
calls to arrange meetings.
Communicates with partner areas on all aspects of a prospect/client
relationship and initiates activity which fulfills a partner's or client's
needs.
Responds to individual prospects/clients' inquiries and respond
through written correspondence or via telephone.
Develop in-depth knowledge of a full range of trust-oriented services
(e.g. personal trusts, living trusts, wills, investment management,
security custody, financial consulting, estate and tax planning). Attend
meetings and classes to keep abreast of personal financial planning
products and services.
Be able to lead sales calls and present to COIs/prospects without the
assistance of a Wealth Strategist. Develop independent calling
program.
Key Traits and Behaviors: Client-centric, collaborative, excellence in written and verbal communication skills, collaboration.Knowledge: Passion, interest and/or basic personal financial planning, trust and investment products and services are required to perform primary duties. Organizational and personal computer skills are necessary to prepare materials for prospect and COI meetings and presentations.Will need to quickly build knowledge of fiduciary products and services (e.g. personal trusts, living trusts, wills, investment management, security custody, financial consulting, estate planning), including fee structures, documentation, policies and procedures usually acquired through work-related instruction or work experience is required to respond to account related matters and various sales situations.Learn the duties performed within the various departments and divisions of the bank acquired through work experience is required to direct inquiries and requests for client-related information.The ideal candidate will benefit from having the follow ng competencies:
Undergraduate Degree or equivalent experience.
Event Planning experience a plus.
Administrative experience strongly preferred.
Strong interpersonal, communication and analytical skills required.
Strong computer skills: PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Salesforce.
1-3 years of trust sales or trust relationship management experience preferred.
Analytical, organizational and sales skills are required to proactively manage the sales process. Interactive skills are required to understand prospect needs and respond with the appropriate solutions.
Experience working with high net worth and ultra-high net worth clients, preferred.
