Please note, candidates must be local to one of the following locations:Morris Plains, NJBloomington, MNBloomfield, CTSt. Louis, MOAs the Splunk / Cribl Architect (Architecture Sr. Advisor) for The Cigna Group’s Enterprise Logging Team you’ll lead our design and architecture projects, help plan and communicate technical roadmaps to IT leadership. You’ll also occasionally need roll up your sleeves to help resolve difficult and complex technical issues. The role will require you to use your hands-on technical expertise with Splunk Enterprise, Splunk Cloud, Cribl and AWS to come up with solutions for technical and business problems.Primary Responsibilities

Lead solution design and architecture for The Cigna Group’s cloud and on-premiselog management solutions.

Collaborate with peers and IT leadership to ensure logging architecture aligns with broader business and technology initiatives and strategy.

Serve as an escalation point for engineers and partner with external vendors to investigate and solve complex technical issues.

Partner with Agile Program and Product Management leads to develop,plan, and execute large initiatives.

Qualifications Required

A minimum of 5 years of experience designing, implementing, and managing large Splunk environments. At least 2 years specifically is with Splunk Cloud.

A minimum of 2 years of experience in designing, implementing, and managing Cribl Stream deployments.

Experience with Splunk Premium Applications, IT Service Intelligence and Enterprise Security.

Proficient with AWS Servicesandimplementationswith a working knowledge of core AWS products including S3, Terraform, ALB/NLB, EC2, PrivateLink and VPCs

AWS, Cribl and Splunk certifications, such as Splunk Certified Architect or AWS Associate, are highly desirable.

Proficiency in scripting and programming languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for custom Splunk app development.

Experience with Ansible and leveraging playbooks for task automation.

Education Required

Four-year university degree or college diploma in a technical field such as Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Information Systems required

Or equivalent work experience
